Quick service to open a new account

I visited Queen St, Cardiff today without an appointment about half an hour before closing. I was initially told that sadly it was too late to open a new ISA account. But as I had recently updated my details in a recent branch, Vicky took me through the process and managed to get all the paperwork done before closing - saving me from having to come back another day. Monmouthshire app is appealing

Tried to open new 6% RS account. Can only do this via app, it's absolutely rubbish. Clunky. Keeps freezing. Can't add my code via a text into two step authentication as box to do so is just a box & won't accept any text. Money paid in takes ages to appear on account, app down for maintenance throughout the day. I'm closing the account as it's too stressful to use. Reviewed on: 9th August 2025
