Absolutely LOVE Monzo

I've been with Monzo for about a year now and it's like no other bank that I've been with. The app is incredible and SO helpful for budgeting, and their staff are super friendly. I can't imagine ever banking with anyone else now. Reviewed on: 5th May 2020

Some unique features but missing some basic functionality

Good: I can request funds by sharing a link, and people can pay me with a debit card. I just sold some flour to a neighbour and got paid into my bank account without sharing my account number, which is great given how useless cash is at the moment. Bad: I got a £10 refund cheque from a utility provider. Cheques can only be paid in by post (or by hand delivering them to London). I sent it to the Freepost address, but Monzo claim they never received it, and I should ask the provider to stop the cheque and issue a new one, and that I can use a tracked delivery service if I'm worried about another one going missing. Paying £2 for tracked delivery plus envelope on a £10 cheque isn't worth it. Paying in cheques in-app like with other banks can't come soon enough for this supposedly all-digital bank. Best features and banking out there

I've been using monzo for 2 years and the current account since it was launched. I quickly closed my account with natwest and moved everything to monzo with their easy switch service and everything has been great since then and looking forward to all the future updates. Absolutely amazing!

Monzo has changed the way I bank forever! I absolutely love my monzo account and the customer service they provide. The ability for your banking app to intelligently calculate your finances for your without any issues or problems means let's time worrying about money. I take my card and my account everywhere around the world. And it is so useful. I much prefer the user interface in comparison to revolut and the rest of my high street bank accounts. I would recommend Monzo to everyone and anyone. I am always telling my friends and family how good monzo is. Everything I wanted

Monzo is one of the best things to come into my life. Its features offer everything someone who loves technology would want. The fact that it's easily accessible is great. It's made me really think about my spending habits and I'm beginning to make more responsibility approaches to not only my spending but also my savings. I have always had zero discipline when it comes to saving but Monzo makes it so easy for me to save and I dont even notice it. This bank is the absolute best. Their pots have helped me divide up my money and save like I never could before. Because of them, I'm smarter and more savvy with my money. I know exactly how much money I have at this second, no waiting for after the weekend to find out I'm actually broke. I love their friendly, community approach to banking, and the ethos that they're a customer service company first is honestly so refreshing. Modern and secure

Monzo is modern and secure. Apparently it’s 10 x better at stopping account takeovers. This gives me confidence my details are safe and the new secure code is so much easier than random digits. I also like how I can budget. Reviewed on: 25th February 2020
