Reliable app, great customer service

The application has worked flawlessly, the only downside is that the last update changed the user interface but didn't bring any extra features to the app. So I was left trying to figure out a new U.I. with no real benefit at the end of it. The customer service representatives are great. The idea that all your messages to and from the reps stay in one "chat" in the app is simple but brilliant. It has meant that I can send a message about an issue, forget about it for a while and come back to reply to the representative without wasting my time or their time. Phenomenal

This bank is far beyond any other bank available, whether it be Santander, to Starling Bank, to Barclays. Nothing compares. The quick and easy opening of the banking app, the prompt sending and receiving of funds and the countless other features Monzo has to offer, really contribute to why I believe Monzo bank should win this award. This bank does NOT charge for emergency overdraft. I can dip in by £3-£4 and have it payed back in within a couple of days without having to worry about excessive overdraft fees. Another amazing feature of Monzo bank is the notification when you receive money, and how easy it is to send and request money from other people on Monzo. Amazing Customer Service and All-Round Go To Card!!

Amazing customer service via the in-app chat. Love using it abroad and haven’t taken cash with me in over 18 months. Easy to send money amongst friends and to split the bill. Easy to separate money and the first time I have ever I’ve been able to save! Reviewed on: 19th January 2020

It just works for this time

This is what a modern bank should be like. They do have their flaws like the lack of IBAN and proper branches or post office to deposit money, but everything else just works and you get have an insight into your finances. Reviewed on: 19th January 2020
