My first UK bank and the best so far

When I first came to UK, no other bank would open an account for me but Monzo did. They kept getting better and better as they grew. Monzo makes money easy!

I’ve used Monzo for years and wouldn’t change a thing! The investment and savings options are perfect for someone at the start of their savings journey. The interface is simple, easy to navigate and fun! I’ve only once experienced an issue when someone stole my card details, the Monzo chat function connected me automatically to an agent who helped me immediately. Having the functions on the app to freeze your card and add authentication before purchases is a brilliant safety feature. Reviewed on: 18th March 2025

Credit score via app was a game changer

For me the absolute game changer was when they were the first bank to link up all of your credit scores in the mobile app. Bloody brilliant!. Reviewed on: 18th March 2025

Flawless from the first enquiry onwards

Everything from the first enquiry to account use is flawless. The app experience and budgeting tools are clear and concise. It's harder to make a mistake than get it right. They are extremely engaging to their customers, and their warm public face really makes you feel like you are a big part of their business by banking with them. Quick to assist with any enquiry, and they take on feedback seriously with a view to improve, and don't give off any "arrogant bankers" energy.
