Monzo Current account reviews (19123)

It's pretty great overall, but has it's quirks.

It's pretty great overall, but has it's quirks. Their customer service can't tell you anything relating to your credit and eligibility for products. They don't offer the same categorisation features for OpenBanking connected accounts. Their new "Perks" account has some fairly uninspired perks, such as Greggs (the worst snack option) or Vue (the worst cinema chain) and specifically only Pizza Express. Not much in terms of Perks in my opinion. How about instead of the £15 I'd save on cinema and Greggs I don't want anyway they offered one of the premium credit agencies services? Or something else finance related? I don't want my back to pretend to know what fast food I like. Reviewed on: 12th February 2025

I love Monzo, makes banking so easy.

I love Monzo, makes banking so easy. I've recommended so many people to it. I first got Monzo for travel but now it's my current amount and I have a joint current with my partner too - plus an ISA and several saving pots! I like keeping tabs on what I'm saving and it's so easy to save for specific things. Also nobody does social media like Monzo, they're awesome and so entertaining! Like how they use their data for fun insights like where people eat the most Pret Vs Gregs. Reviewed on: 11th February 2025
