Monzo is the first bank that has genuinely helped me save money. It is the only current account I’ve used that actively encourages saving through practical features such as round-up pots and automatic incremental savings (like the 1p yearly savings). These tools make saving effortless and consistent, helping me build better financial habits without needing constant attention. Reviewed on: 11th February 2026

Monzo is the only current account that has actually helped me to save money by creating round up pots and initiating the 1p yearly savings challenge. I saved over £650 last year, didn’t miss the money and didn’t have to do anything other than sign up. Monzo actually care about you and making the best of your money/savings.
