Friendly, helpful and have a bank in my local town

During the pandemic, NatWest called me a few times as part of their "check-in" process. We discussed mortgages and what I could do to put myself in a better position. They provided some reassurance that I was in a better place than I thought, which was great. Also, on a number of occasions, I have had to go to the local bank to cash in cheques and do other things. The staff are always helpful, friendly and covid-compliant. I am just so grateful that my town of 26k still has a bank I can work into and use on a Saturday. Reviewed on: 12th January 2022

Reliable and professional advice

Like the rest of the country, my finances altered drastically during the beginning of the pandemic. Natwest were proactive in arranging a video consultation with one of their experts so that I could ask very specific questions about the management of my account. They were also able to give me advice on other products available to me and recommendations for the future. All information I received was invaluable Reviewed on: 12th January 2022

Great bank

Good App and high-street presence

Decent bank

Decent rewards system, earning cashback on direct debits. Annoying that the nearest branch is in centre of city where parking is £££ - no other way to do certain things - opening account or, until recently, depositing cheques. App isn't very advanced, can be hard to find what you're looking for. Reviewed on: 12th January 2022

Unwelcome in the bank.

Rarely go to the bank but today I went to get £800 cash and asked for an envelope only to be told they don't give envelopes anymore but I can bring my own. Resulting in £800 loose in my coat pocket leaving it vulnerable to being lost etc. Absolutely ridiculous and using the environment as an excuse, it's jumping on the band wagon to save money.
