Slow, inconvenient, not what I call modern banking!

I banked with Natwest for over 15 years, not out of 'loyalty' but naivety thinking all banks were the same and banking was 'simply' painful. I opened a current account with another bank over a year ago and since have realised how badly Natwest compares on many aspects: everything is difficult, slow, expensive and staff are either poorly trained or very unfriendly. I used to like their app banking as I hate going to branches and it saves me time but many things can't be done on the app and then I lost my access because they failed to send a debit card replacement before my old one expired. I don't want to bank with them anymore so I am trying to close my accounts and again that has been so painful and slow. I will never bank with them again and certainly don't recommend them. Friendly simple banking

I have been with Natwest for many years now and have always found them pleasant and easy to deal with, their products are straightforward and do what they say on the tin, Over the last few years they have made some big changes in things and in my opinion all of these changes have been for the better where all the services now are very easy to access and understand. they have streamlined charges etc so they are now very simple and if they do ever make a mistake they ALWAYS err in your favour afterwards all in all a great place to bank Reviewed on: 9th December 2016

Excellent Weston Favell Branch

Our Weston Favell Branch has an excellent Customer Service station. I changed from HSBC as this branch was closer to home and it was the best decision I ever made regarding banking. No car parking charges. Easier to get to. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Reviewed on: 4th December 2016

Good basic account, not good for travelling abroad though.

This is a good basic account, but there are a few limitations on the web access (refreshes the screen while you are trying to log in and transaction cannot be si ply copied and pasted into excel due to double lines (copy to word first)) and if you're travelling abroad, you can only give them a limited number of destinations and EXACT days you will be in each country - useless if you're travelling on a flexible timeline!
