Good. But they can cancel your account with no warning

NatWest was a really good bank for me. The staff in their banks are really friendly and helpful. But. They have the rights (in the contact you sign) where they can cancel your account and not tell you any reason why. I was a student in my second year and out of the blue they cancelled my student and saving account with no explanation which caused me huge problems. For this reason I would not recommend NatWest. Probably the best student account

They are very fair in terms of extra charges, limiting them as they know you might not have the most stable of income. Its also nice the overdraft is limited to 500 at first so you don't blow it all in one go Reviewed on: 9th February 2018

Excellent Service

Natwest have gone above and beyond to help me out when Student Finance have been late on payments, they've made sure I don't incur any charges in areas that I absolutely would have and have been fully understanding and quick to act when I've needed help. Reviewed on: 2nd May 2017

I am in my fourth year of being a student, and apart from one encounter with a rude member of staff, I have always had a pleasant and efficient service from Natwest. Reviewed on: 2nd December 2016

The worst experience of my life

After waiting 2 MONTHS for them to open my atudents account i reveive a letter that my application was dennied. This after i received an email that my account had been open. The staff was extremely unhelpful and unintrested in helping. When i askes why i was refused they said that they don't give out that information ( i honestly could not think of a single reason). The whole two month experience was a complete nightmare. I would advise people to avoid nat west at any cost. Reviewed on: 16th November 2016
