Completion delay

Good up to completion. New compliance officer demanded additional paperwork delaying the completion. Very stressful and should not have happened. Reviewed on: 14th February 2025

Remortgaging to Newbury was a Great Choice

We were remortgaging to Newbury from another lender via a broker, but the interactions we had with Newbury BS staff was excellent throughout the process. I received my telephone appointment with Angela Burton from your Newbury branch and she was extremely helpful and explained all products clearly. She even managed to find a better rate of interest after the appointment and called me back to inform me. Reviewed on: 24th January 2025

Staff at the building society responded quickly.

Staff at the building society responded quickly and helpfully throughout the entire process. We were working within strict time constraints on the purchase of a property and staff kept us fully informed of progress at all stages which took the pressure off from what can be a stressful experience when it is not something you do every day.
