Getting the best from my savings!

Great customer service

Hazel in the Newbury branch was extremely helpful and patient, with my Mum and I asking for various things, like opening a new account, paying in money and updating our interest on different accounts we have between us. Hazel was fab! Only negative comments are the lack of plastic wallets available to store passbooks in - a real pain!!! Can’t be for environmental reasons because they are definitely NOT single use plastic! Also, where has the water dispenser gone?? Really missed that because we were in branch for quite a while and my mum is elderly. Not keen on the branch refit at all. Bring back the water dispenser and more chairs! People queuing, can’t really sit down. Reviewed on: 22nd September 2023

We do not provide plastic wallets anymore as we are reducing the plastic we use, not just single use. Please do let our branch team know if you require a glass of water and it can be provided. Thank you for your thoughts also on the branch refurbishment, we do ask the branch colleagues to provide extra seating if the bench seats and side seating are all in use - please do ask for a seat if you require one and we can provide this. EXELLENT SERVICE

We made an appointment to open a new account, quick to get an appointment and on time. Ella was very polite, friendly and efficient. The transfer to the new account was prompt and the books were returned by post within 2 days. An excellent and friendly, personal service. Reviewed on: 22nd September 2023

Excellent, friendly service.

I knew the type of product I wanted and there was no pressure put on me to go for a different option. Pros and cons of suitable options were discussed but I felt free to make my own choice. There was no pressure. I would definitely consider one of the other options suggested at a later date. Reviewed on: 16th September 2023
