EXELLENT SERVICE

We made an appointment to open a new account, quick to get an appointment and on time. Ella was very polite, friendly and efficient. Excellent, friendly service.

I knew the type of product I wanted and there was no pressure put on me to go for a different option. Pros and cons of suitable options were discussed but I felt free to make my own choice. Firstly I didn’t expect to have a conversation about my savings on the day I went into the Newbury but was pleasantly surprised when I was offered an appointment. The advisor was very informative and covered everything I needed to know to make an informed decision about my savings. The advice was given in a clear concise manner. Good old fashioned service

I like non internet branch based financial services. Newbury building society felt more personable than Nationwide building society on initial enquiry. Was able to book a appointment for the time slot i needed . Quite a lot of form filling to do to join but done in 35 minutes. Passbook for 'welcome to Newbury building society' account arrived quickly. The passbook for the ISA transfer account will take longer. I have been advised, as my previous provider will drag their feet. Reviewed on: 8th September 2023
