Really friendly, helpful staff and also easy to add funds by internet as well.

I met staff of Newbury Building Society at Abingdon Air Show and liked the sound of the account which I subsequently opened in branch. The service I received in branch was very good and the whole process was very smooth. Since then I have used internet access which again is very user-friendly (I'm not computer-savvy, so need simple systems!). Reviewed on: 4th January 2018

Easiest and best bank I have ever banked with

We were looking to open a new savings account and thought, as they are local, we would speak with the Newbury Building Society. From the start everything was straight forward and simple, the staff made it so easy. On top of that they are one of the only saving banks I know that automatically changes your saving rates when interest moves in your favour, you usually have to contact your bank and have things changed, not with the Newbury. Simple, great savings plan & friendly helpful staff.

Just wanted a simple savings account for a rainy day, good interest rate & easy to use. I opted not to go for online banking so that I was less tempted to transfer/withdraw. The Best Place On The High Street

My wife and I have a number of accounts with Newbury BS. We've found their staff to be well-informed as well as knowing how to treat customers properly.
