Really friendly, helpful staff and also easy to add funds by internet as well.

I met staff of Newbury Building Society at Abingdon Air Show and liked the sound of the account which I subsequently opened in branch. The service I received in branch was very good and the whole process was very smooth. Since then I have used internet access which again is very user-friendly (I'm not computer-savvy, so need simple systems!). Reviewed on: 4th January 2018

Small is beautiful !

As a customer for over 40 years, first as a mortgagor and then saver both I and my wife have found the Society invariably helpful with well trained staff, competitive savings rates (even in low interest times) with sensible governance and management which has succeeded when larger fish have failed. Newbury Building Society Basingstoke office are always very friendly and efficient in the way that they service any account queries and account updating. The society seem to offer competitive interest rates and I consider them to be sufficiently stable enough to trust them with my money. Reviewed on: 4th January 2018

Impressive Welcome

We are pensioners and wanted somewhere with a local office and online facility. On arriving in the branch (Newbury) to open an account we were made really welcome and everything was explained clearly to us. Have not had any need to visit the branch since but so reassuring to know that friendly knowledgeable staff are there for us. Reviewed on: 4th January 2018

Best of Banking.
