Great for spreading the cost!

If you are good with keeping on top of making payments on time, Paypal Credit is incredibly useful for paying for essential goods which cannot wait, interest free. You must do it right - if you don't pay the right amount on time, you will eventually incur interest. But, provided you keep track of what you are doing and schedule your payments correctly, spend within your means, it's a fantastic tool for making online purchases without giving out your bank details to a random company, for example. Pay in 3 is a great way to spread the cost of items, interest free - again, keep track of your payments and dates of interest free expiry etc. Reviewed on: 11th June 2026
