PayPal could significantly enhance the experience by introducing more flexibility into its processes, particularly during account setup and within Pay in 3. The current approach can feel overly stringent, with limited room to resolve issues or make adjustments once decisions are made. Allowing more adaptable verification options, clearer pathways for resolving account restrictions, and greater control over managing Pay in 3 payments (such as rescheduling or adjusting instalments) would make a meaningful difference. A more flexible, customer-centric approach would better align PayPal with the evolving standards set by its competitors. Reviewed on: 27th April 2026

Always there when I'm in a pickle

PayPal saves my bacon.

I have been using PayPal for a very long time. If I have had problems and not been able to sort it with the supplier (which is very rare) but I've had a few and PayPal have always sorted it quickly. Also sometimes something goes wrong and payday is not an option due to the current Cost of Living and my Fridge Freezer went and with PayPal I got a pay over 12 months which helped tremendously. I appreciate the security features, the buyer protection, and the fact that I can resolve most things quickly without needing to contact support.
