My new default credit provider

PayPal credit has become my default credit provider for a number of reasons. First, the APR is much less than a credit card. Second, with PayPal + I get points on my spending, which have added up to real money that I can use like for purchases. Third, PayPal offers me a wide variety of repayment options, from pay in 3, to 4 months interest free to longer periods with fixed payments and no penalty for paying off early. No other credit provider offers me this level of flexibility. It’s a bit of a game changer really to have these options and to get something back from a credit provider. Reviewed on: 13th July 2026
