PayPal is my first choice for online payments.

Having recently used PayPal for purchases I would normally have paid with my credit card, I now use PayPal as my first choice when paying online. The options for moving money and the clear easy to read payment history make PayPal a winner. Reviewed on: 28th May 2025

Great Service, but One Glitch Cost Me a Penalty

I’ve used PayPal Credit many times—it's a very convenient way to pay for expensive products. However, during my last experience, I faced an issue while trying to link my account to pay in installments. I followed all the steps, and although I received a confirmation message, it turned out that my bank account wasn’t linked properly. This caused a payment issue, and I ended up getting a penalty. I called customer support, and they were helpful in advising me on how to fix the issue, which I appreciated. But I believe the process should be improved and made easier. At the very least, PayPal should have notified me when the linking failed so I could address it in time. Getting a bad credit mark for something that wasn’t your fault is the last thing anyone wants. Always reliable and when there are issues they're always dealt with quickly and easily. The only issue I have is that if I have more items on PPC, say one that's 4 months interest free but another that isn't, I'm never 100% sure if payments are being diverted correctly to avoid paying interest. is there a notification that could be set up to confirm what is being paid to what if I have a number of items on PPC? Easy access to safe financial transactions

I have been utilising PayPal for over 10 years for online purchases and to send money to friends and charities every transaction has been quick, easy and safe when it comes to larger purchases they have provide credit without lengthy forms that is both manageable and affordable when an odd purchase did go wrong PayPal sorted it without hassle and I was refunded their system makes me feel secure allowing me the freedom to have a few of the finer things that I wouldn’t be able to have without their help I would and have recommended them to anyone and with the growing lack of high street banks they are so easy to access you can’t go wrong Reviewed on: 28th May 2025
