TLDR: PayPal is great but would be better with...

TLDR: PayPal is great but would be better with additional features to help users manage timely repayments! Been using PayPal/PayPal Credit/Pay in 3 over 20 years and can only recall 1-2 minor issues in all that time, which were always swiftly addressed by PayPal CS when required. The convenience and ease of use is undeniable and has allowed me to purchase otherwise-unaffordable items/services safely & securely, and more importantly cost-effectively, countless times - especially after they implemented the 0-interest Pay in 3/4 options. However, one area that prevents a 5-start review is the ease of tracking and managing my various interest-free offers; admittedly this seems to have improved recently on the iOS app where the different options are better presented, with easier manual custom repayment setup, etc. but additional automatic notifications and in-app integration of soon-to-expire interest-free periods, reminders to pay/clear balances and other mechanics to assist users in efficiently managing and clearing their PayPal balances would be really helpful. I've had a positive experience with PayPal Credit. The application process was straightforward, payments were easy to manage, and the account information was clearly presented. Great platform to use for multiple apps and websites, so have been able to buy things from anywhere with peace of mind and protection from PayPal! Plus, if you need extra flexibility, PayPal Credit It is good for bigger purchase, it gives you no interest for 6 months on anything over £99. Just make sure you pay it off in full before. Always very helpful, swift service, you have very friendly and professional advisors. I got my issue sorted very quickly everytime I called and I appreciate the short waiting times. Can’t fault PayPal credit

I use PayPal credit regularly. It’s takes the pressure off, and I can’t spread the cost. I love that I now have my PayPal Credit card downloaded to my Apple Wallet so that I can shop in store also. Reviewed on: 21st June 2026
