Great for "buy now, pay later"

PayPal Credit is useful for me as a hobbyist software collector, which is often expensive and physical editions are limited time purchases. PayPal credit allows me to "buy now, pay later" and set up a monthly direct debit to pay off my balance Reviewed on: 29th May 2026

Brilliant

I've been using PayPal for several years and overall I've had a positive experience. The biggest advantage for me is how quick and convenient it is when shopping online. I don't need to enter my card details every time, and it's accepted by most major retailers. I've also used PayPal Pay in 3 a few times for larger purchases. The application process was straightforward, payments were clearly displayed, and I liked being able to spread the cost without paying interest. The app sends reminders before payments are due, which helps avoid missing one. On the downside, customer service can be slow when there is a problem, and I've heard mixed experiences from people dealing with disputes. Fortunately, I haven't had any major issues myself.
