On a number of occasions I have bought an article which had a higher than usual cost attached. I have applied to PayPal for a three monthly term for payment and the decision has been approved immediately. From then on they have managed my account and kept me informed as to when they would debit my bank account and what the outstanding amount was. This mode of payment has made a number of purchases possible which I otherwise may have had to forego. Reviewed on: 8th July 2026

You feel protected from scammers.

If you have a problem, its usually sorted, However of the rare occassions this has happened, over many years of use, I did find it a bit of a HUNT and a bit more effort than it should have been. A simple click against a 'problem' transaction and a opportunity to explain the issue that often might not match tick boxes, which also is a way of misdirection is not helpful. i haven't had a problem recently, it may be better now.
