Pay in three is great!

Pay in three is great! It’s very helpful for spreading payments so that they are more manageable, particularly on a tighter budget! Great for larger purchases that are necessary but need to be spread as to not make you completely broke! If it could add to a credit score that would be perfect, but otherwise a great service! Straight forward and easy to understand.

Straight forward and easy to understand. Using the pay in 3 helps spread the cost of purchases over a set period allowing you to purchase things even if you don’t have the full amount at the time. Having a determined amount each month to repay lets you plan your finances for that given month and there are never any surprises! Reviewed on: 17th June 2024

Much better Pay in 3 options out there

There are much better alternatives to Paypal pay in 3 imo. Reasons: No clarity around eligibility rules (sometimes you’re eligible, sometimes not, if you’re rejected it’ll then ban you for an indefinite amount of time - customer service cannot tell you any more). Exchange rates are terrible. If your card declines for some reason, it’ll then ban you from pay in 3 for an undefined length of time (even if your card is now fully working). Terrible customer service - very very long wait times on the phone, and agents have very little access to information so can’t help much. Overall I’d only use paypal pay in 3 as a last resort (one upside is that most places take them, though often you can create a “one-time card” in klarna for places that don’t have it listed as a payment option, takes slightly longer though).
