I’ve found PayPal really handy

I’ve found PayPal really handy for both sending and receiving money, it’s quick, easy to set up, and feels pretty secure, especially when shopping online thanks to the buyer protection. It’s also great for business bits like sending invoices or getting paid without too much hassle. That said, the fees can creep up, particularly for business or international payments, and I’ve heard (and seen) that if anything unusual happens, accounts can get limited which can be a bit stressful. Overall though, it’s a solid, convenient option, I just wouldn’t rely on it as the only way to handle payments. Reviewed on: 5th May 2026
