A fantastic service

I have used this service for years and find it extremely helpful in my role - which is discharging homeless duty into the private sector for Hackney Council. I use this to check affordability. Better Off Calculator take all comments & suggestions seriously and have improved - and continue to improve - the calculator enormously. It is easy to use and the results it are comprehensive and easy to update /amend. They also offer training on various subjects. I cannot praise them enough to be honest. They truly deserve to win. The best calculator out there!!

Great help on chat box

I find the chat box has been particularly helpful when I've had any further queries. If an answer cannot be provided immediately, someone always gets back to me. Additionally, the fringe benefits referred to at the end of the calculations are a good reminder of other services and help available. Reviewed on: 14th May 2025

Very help and easy to use.

Very help and easy to use. Its almost very accurate while using especially when you need to quickly have an overview of what is affordable and wheat is not. Helping with extra money

As a person who works helping people find work, it is great to be able to help them see what benefits they could be claiming.
