AWFUL THEY DONT CARE

Unbelievably bad service actually non existant service They simply dony care and dont answer their phones........ Waited over 40 mins and stillthey dont answer!!!!! Not once but 3 times today.......... Have you stolen my money as I cannot speak to you!!!! What sort of unproffesional outfit are you??? Reviewed on: 6th November 2023

Are RCI Stealing from me?

This bank do not answer calls or emails and DO NOT PAY OWED INTEREST WHEN DUE. Oped a two year fixed rate account. No interest paid or showing in account despite first year elapsing (supposed to pay annually) Obviously accurate interest payments is not only a legal imperative but also vital for accounting purposes. I have bonds with many banks and have never uncounted this before. I am referring the bank to the FCA I recommend anybody encountering difficulties or apparent fraud in my case do the same Reviewed on: 6th November 2023

Holding back funds and no communication

As a family we have 3 accounts with RCI and we will now be looking to close them . They have held 8k off our Sons money in their holding account for 2 weeks and are refusing to put it into his account or return it. We have written to CEO and emailed the help line and made so many phone calls and RCI do not respond. I am appalled at there service and am desperate to know where to go from here . Great rate for an easy access account

I originally took out a notice account with RCI, but while this was giving a great interest rate at the time, sometimes you need immediate access to your savings. Once again one of the top interest rates with Freedom Savings. Reviewed on: 9th March 2023

Untrustworthy bank

Lost my trust with this bank and there is no way to ever restore it after they suddenly removed my linked account without any explanation and took months to restore it by forcing me to reapply by post. I could not use my own money when we needed it desperately. It caused unnecessary anxiety, RCI did not even apologised. Now trying to withdraw my savings and move it to another more reliable provider with much much better and more competitive rate, the bank has kept my money for nearly a week when it says one business day. So it’s not earning any interest as it’s not appearing in the RCI account and also not in my personal bank account.I used to believe RCI was a decent bank but no longer.
