Counter staff didn’t have the relevant information-email sent which didn’t include the correct info… involved multiple visits to branch for an online account! Communication poor Reviewed on: 2nd July 2024

Changes to online access causing major difficulties!

In previous years I have found Saffron BS excellent but no longer. Since you changed your online access systems in late 2023 - early 2024 I am no longer able to access my accounts via my old Ipad and on my laptop my password is locked out, therefore I have to access by phone to carry out transactions. Your customer Service staff remain very helpful and pleasant but you really should review your online access facilities to ensure long standing customers remain with you and don't go elsewhere. Opening accounts as a new customer was fairly straightforward. The representative I spoke to at the counter gave me all the forms I’d need and explained the process. The accounts were set up quickly and communication was provided along the way. Reviewed on: 23rd June 2024

Poor service

I visited the Bishop's Stortford branch on 6th June as I had a bond maturing on 16th June. The Advisor had no renewal forms to hand and had a problem printing me a copy. I completed form to renew for a further year fixed 4.4%. It is now 22ndJune. I have received no confirmation!!. I don't think this is good customer service. Reviewed on: 22nd June 2024

quite difficult to pay money in from another account...

quite difficult to pay money in from another account,after a few tries found out the payment was going to a barclay account,which is a concern,no one confirmed this is correct even though asked on internal message,found out myself in the end by small transfer of 10 quid,still not replied to my request to move balance from my view only account,message still sitting there,perhaps you could look at the message,also no one advised you need each account number and name for it to go in correct account found out myself Reviewed on: 22nd June 2024
