Card renewal - bad practice

2 male operatives didn't give the correct information and the female operative tried her best but her boss has not deemed my complaint important enough to get back to me. I received a letter from Saga stating my credit card had expired and to ring them with new details. On giving the details of my card, immediate payment for my car insurance was taken from my bank account.At no time was I told this would happen and no one would cancel the payment which was not due for 3 another 3weeks. I was told to cancel it through my bank .They told me the payment was ",pending "so it couldn't be done and to go back to Saga. This practice should be made clear in their letter or by the operative before taking my card details. It has caused me financial embarrassment and disappointment as well 2hrs on the phone trying to deal with this..I will not be renewing my insurance with Saga next year for sure Reviewed on: 25th April 2023

So reassuring you can actually speak to someone when you have any queries and they actually listen and explain things in lay mans terms. Both myself and my husband are now with SAGA for car insurance and am relieved to find such a great Company who don't complicate things . I recently was involved in an accident and deemed non fault driver, the support I’ve received from the first call was fantastic. I was provided with a replacement car within 1 hour and everything was dealt with very swiftly and smoothly.
