Card renewal - bad practice

2 male operatives didn't give the correct information and the female operative tried her best but her boss has not deemed my complaint important enough to get back to me. I received a letter from Saga stating my credit card had expired and to ring them with new details. On giving the details of my card, immediate payment for my car insurance was taken from my bank account.At no time was I told this would happen and no one would cancel the payment which was not due for 3 another 3weeks. I was told to cancel it through my bank .They told me the payment was ",pending "so it couldn't be done and to go back to Saga. This practice should be made clear in their letter or by the operative before taking my card details. It has caused me financial embarrassment and disappointment as well 2hrs on the phone trying to deal with this..I will not be renewing my insurance with Saga next year for sure Reviewed on: 25th April 2023

The customer service is superb!

The insurance is very comprehensive and proved invaluable when I was recently involved in an accident. But, most importantly, the customer service team across the board were professional, patient, supportive and kind during a time that was quite stressful for me. I cannot thank them enough. Accident Cover

Unfortunately I was involved in an accident last year.Saga's help was clear and concise. They dealt with any real problems and smoothed out any particular problems.The other parties were most impressed with my insurance company and asked who they were. Even though I was at fault they were there to suport me. Only complaint is that I didn't like the huge increase in my payments !! Although I am aware that this happens with all companies.
