Card renewal - bad practice

2 male operatives didn't give the correct information and the female operative tried her best but her boss has not deemed my complaint important enough to get back to me. I received a letter from Saga stating my credit card had expired and to ring them with new details. On giving the details of my card, immediate payment for my car insurance was taken from my bank account.At no time was I told this would happen and no one would cancel the payment which was not due for 3 another 3weeks. I was told to cancel it through my bank .They told me the payment was ",pending "so it couldn't be done and to go back to Saga. This practice should be made clear in their letter or by the operative before taking my card details. It has caused me financial embarrassment and disappointment as well 2hrs on the phone trying to deal with this..I will not be renewing my insurance with Saga next year for sure Reviewed on: 25th April 2023

Value for money car insurance.

Value for money car insurance, fixed price for three years. My wife was with a different company and when her renewal was due it went up 38%, probably due to me turning 70. She tried SAGA and got a great deal including the three years fixed price. So far never had to make a claim but confident if we ever had to , based on experience of making a buildings claim, it would be hopefully straight forward Reviewed on: 14th August 2025

Saga were Brilliant with their fair treatment
