Card renewal - bad practice

2 male operatives didn't give the correct information and the female operative tried her best but her boss has not deemed my complaint important enough to get back to me. I received a letter from Saga stating my credit card had expired and to ring them with new details. On giving the details of my card, immediate payment for my car insurance was taken from my bank account.At no time was I told this would happen and no one would cancel the payment which was not due for 3 another 3weeks. I was told to cancel it through my bank .They told me the payment was ",pending "so it couldn't be done and to go back to Saga. This practice should be made clear in their letter or by the operative before taking my card details. It has caused me financial embarrassment and disappointment as well 2hrs on the phone trying to deal with this..I will not be renewing my insurance with Saga next year for sure Reviewed on: 25th April 2023

Amazing Cover from Saga

Almost auto renewed insurance with another company as I thought it was a reasonable price but, I decided to use the Comparison sites just to reassure myself and was totally blown over with the cover and price from Saga. Will stay with Saga long term if this is the same service and costs year in onwards. Reviewed on: 30th September 2021

Good Service

I have been with Saga for many years on and off. In years when I have moved away they have always kept in touch. I have only had one major claim which Saga handled very efficiently. I am back with them now because of the 3 year price guarantee. Reviewed on: 30th September 2021

Quick easy professional service

Great service

Both my wife and I have taken out Saga car insurance. This was very simple to do and great value as we have a 3 year deal at a fixed price which was very competitive. We are now in the second of the three years and renewal was achieved without great effort. Saga continud to keep in contact and we are very pleased with the service and value for money.
