Card renewal - bad practice

2 male operatives didn't give the correct information and the female operative tried her best but her boss has not deemed my complaint important enough to get back to me. I received a letter from Saga stating my credit card had expired and to ring them with new details. On giving the details of my card, immediate payment for my car insurance was taken from my bank account.At no time was I told this would happen and no one would cancel the payment which was not due for 3 another 3weeks. I was told to cancel it through my bank .They told me the payment was ",pending "so it couldn't be done and to go back to Saga. This practice should be made clear in their letter or by the operative before taking my card details. It has caused me financial embarrassment and disappointment as well 2hrs on the phone trying to deal with this..I will not be renewing my insurance with Saga next year for sure Reviewed on: 25th April 2023

Renewing car insurance

We have just changed our car, about two weeks before our existing insurance was due for renewal. The rep. we dealt with couldn’t have been more helpful and, as is often the way, offered a more competitive quote than the one offered initially. Reviewed on: 29th September 2021

Great company

Very easy to deal with, one of the few that offers 365 coverage in Europe as a normal part of your policy. My renewal premium was higher than I thought it should be but one phone call later and it was reduced and fixed for 3 years. I'm a very happy customer. Reviewed on: 29th September 2021
