Card renewal - bad practice

2 male operatives didn't give the correct information and the female operative tried her best but her boss has not deemed my complaint important enough to get back to me. I received a letter from Saga stating my credit card had expired and to ring them with new details. On giving the details of my card, immediate payment for my car insurance was taken from my bank account.At no time was I told this would happen and no one would cancel the payment which was not due for 3 another 3weeks. I was told to cancel it through my bank .They told me the payment was ",pending "so it couldn't be done and to go back to Saga. This practice should be made clear in their letter or by the operative before taking my card details. It has caused me financial embarrassment and disappointment as well 2hrs on the phone trying to deal with this..I will not be renewing my insurance with Saga next year for sure Reviewed on: 25th April 2023

Friendly and supportive

EXCELLENT MOTOR INSURANCE SERVICE

i have used saga motor insurance for many years and always found them most helpful and courteous. my wife and i are over 85years but this is no problem and have fixed my insurance rates for next three years. Reviewed on: 29th September 2021

Great insurance cover at brilliant price

I switched from Mercedes own insurance to Saga a couple of years ago. The Saga team is brilliant and very helpful, the price is very competitive and the insurance is fully comprehensive with many areas that are covered. I love it! Reviewed on: 29th September 2021
