Avoid and if cant definitely avoid the postal delivery!!!!! What a pain i am having to go through 3 days before my travel, forex ordered via Sainsburys Bank, they delivered me $100 short (delta between the actual currency and printed out letter that came with is that the envelope was short x2 $50 notes) Called Sainsbury bank now 4th time and they are having the investigation on! Its standard statement of "we are investigating", its like these guys dont care i have a flight to catch they have internal problems and they care the least! I have to call them everytime! their call centre numbers are slow "call waiting for agaent to be available" and once got through the agents had to put me on hold as much longer to read the complain and call their back office or where ever to get the update. What a nightmare for saving £2.00 and less in the conversion rate I have already spend a lot of time on the phone bill and restless nights without any update. Never ever again will go to them!!!!!!!!! There goes the brand trust!!! Never again in my life, I will use them other than to buy milk and bread!!!!! Reviewed on: 6th July 2018

Reloading technical problems lost £500

I went online to reload my card, went all the way through the process and then a message popped up to say that they had technical problems but that they would keep on trying. Three days later and still no funds, yet over £500 has been taken from my Bank account for prepaid card transaction. Neither party will return my money, nor load my Cash passport card, and I am abroad. I have spent three days sending emails, online chat, online forms, and telephone calls, without success. Don't touch the Sainsbury's cash passport

My card didn't work - very embarrassing in a restaurant. Sainsbury's are making it virtually impossible for me to get the full amount refunded that I paid for euros on the card. They are offering to buy back at their much lower rate. Completely unacceptable. I will be going to the financial ombudsman. Reviewed on: 7th December 2016
