only one benefit

The only benefit i get is its free to withdraw money in spain, no interest and expensive to go overdrawn for a short time. Reviewed on: 8th November 2017

Does what it says on the tin

The bank in general are helpful and informative. Never any queues in the bank, online banking which is what i use the most is easy, problem free - no additional calculators or devices, just easy. Reviewed on: 8th November 2017

My Family Friendly Bank

It's alright.

Average bank account, in branch service good.

There nothing to shout about for this bank account. It does what it says on the tin - no special extras but it does the job for us. The in-branch staff are always helpful and a few times we've had fraudulent activity on our cards but this has been sorted very swiftly which is reassuring. The rates aren't particularly great but sometimes it can be more hassle switching. Overall, an OK bank account but not if you want lots of extra benefits. Reviewed on: 27th July 2017

Great account

Excellent customer service in branch combined with very efficient online portal makes this company's products hard to beat. Never had an issue with any transfers. Debit card began to de-laminate, replaced on request within 4 working days. Reviewed on: 5th July 2017

Making the poor poorer

I was struggling and missed a £16 direct debit Santander then charged me £25 putting me £20 overdrawn witch then because I have no overdraft was charging me £6 a day when I went in to a branch I was fobbed off to call them from their branch I was told it was my problem for not organising my finances.
