Good but very slow process

It was frustrating at times how slowly the underwriting process took with only getting my mortgage offer the day of the sale closure and this was with continuous prompting from solicitors and mortgage advisors. It is also frustrating that there is no online system or service for customers to access their mortgage information or account. Reviewed on: 14th June 2022

All mortgage companies should be like this

Before i went with scottish building society i had 2 mortgage offers with other companies but over months both companies wanted me to jump through so many hoops and nade ecerything so hard and complicated and no matter what i did still made things hard and not even with a good deal at the end to the point of giving up then wecame accross Scottish building society and sudenly everything was so much easyer and straight forward and quick decisions which totaly helped and also got a lot better deal then anywhere else. Qll mortgage companys should be like this.

I had my own mordgage advisor trying to get me a mortgage ww tried a few options there was 2 companies we tried with who both offerd a mortgage but ober time wanted us to do more and more making it so hard to deal with and not even good deal at the end of it to to the point i was about to give up. Till we found scottish building society which straight away nade everything so much easyer and uncomplicated which realy helped and also an all round better deal. Reviewed on: 9th June 2022
