SPEEDY EFFICIENT SERVICE

WE FOUND THE SERVICE EXCELLENT CONSIDERING WE ARE 450 MILES AWAY AND EVERYTHING WAS DEALT WITH ELECTRONICALLY. THE WHOLE APPLICATION PROCESS VIA OUR BROKER SEEMED SMOOTH AND EFFICIENT . CLOSER TO COMPLETION WE HAD SOME DIRECT COMMUNICATION WITH THE SOCIETY AND I KNOW OUR SOLICITOR WAS VERY PLEASED AND CONFIDENT FROM DEALING WITH THE SCOTTISH BUILDING SOCIETY IN THE PAST THAT MONIES WOULD ARRIVE WHEN CALLED FOR. Great product efficiently delivered.

I was looking for an equity release mortgage and my broker recommended the Scottish Building Society. Their documentation is easy to understand and complete. Only small critisism is that they sent the same documentation for completion at different stages of the process. All in all though a great customer experience and I would definitely recommend. 1st time buyer

After a rocky start to our process to purchase our first home with other providers we approached SBS who have been fantastic.. comparing to other providers I would say we had a more person centerd experience which is great as purchasing a home is one of the most stressful and serving processes we go through. A straightforward, efficient process

Following a recommendation by my broker, the process to get an offer along with a later updated offer was quick and simple. The Customer Service team were efficient and always ready to help when required. It was a refreshing change to be able to call a specific individual and get through to them immediately when required. Good but very slow process

It was frustrating at times how slowly the underwriting process took with only getting my mortgage offer the day of the sale closure and this was with continuous prompting from solicitors and mortgage advisors. It is also frustrating that there is no online system or service for customers to access their mortgage information or account. Reviewed on: 14th June 2022
