Personal, friendly, Scottish

Main reasons for investing with the Society is that it is Scottish and the interest rates for our type of investments are reasonably good. Only drawback is the locality of branches in relation to where we live and because of holding two accounts in our name we are unable to transact online. Reviewed on: 6th February 2025

Promptly seen to - rolling over a bond account. My only complaint is doing away with the bankbooks - because I have several accounts and have to do a tax return (and like for many from branch) I need a clear trace of my accounts for tax records - not having a book makes it difficult. Have always loved and valued the Scottish Building Society. A rare service nowadays in Scotland. Disappointed that you no longer have a satellite office but I understand the need to keep our costs down and interest rates competitive. Reviewed on: 31st January 2025
