ISA transfer from another bank.

I had an ISA that was maturing with another bank and decided to transfer it to one of Shawbrook's cash ISA accounts for better interest. Having filled in the forms I was annoyed that this bank emailed me to say they couldn't allow the transfer to go through on maturity as there was one small mistake on the forms. I rang this bank and they said I'd have to start the process all over again !! Rang Shawbrook and explained the situation. No, I didn't have to start all over again. They got in touch with this bank and the transfer happened, at maturity, as planned. Success!! Reviewed on: 21st March 2025

Cash savings account review

I was looking for a cash savings account that would be easy to manage and found the Shawbrook account matched my needs perfectly. Everything was sorted out online and I have had no problems with the account. Additionally I have had to deal with Shawbrook following a bereavement and their bank was the quickest to respond out of all of the 6 institutions that I had to deal with. A bank that listens to its customers - now that's rare!

I have had saving accounts with Shawbrook for over 4 years and throughout that time (and now) have always experienced exceptional and prompt service from them. Their staff are knowledgeable on all aspects of savings and it so very easy to communicate with them. I have discovered that, contrary to most banks, they actually listen to the views of their customers. Reviewed on: 26th February 2024
