Best online bank I've used

Pleasantly surprised by customer service when I had a problem with my login not working. Phone was answered by a person in the UK and problem was resolved after a few days. They have a good range of accounts and often have excellent interest rates. The only thing that would make me like them more is if they had some bricks and mortar branches - online banks can feel a bit 'temporary' and less well established compared to high street banks. But Shawbrook is the best online bank I've used. Reviewed on: 15th January 2026
