Treat customers as idiots

On the 9/5/23 I rang Sheila's wheels to renew my car insurance. I was put through to a call centre in India who was virtually impossible to understand I had to ask so many times to repeat herself. Eventually I thought I had insured my car and that was the end of it for another year. Yesterday I received a letter from them thanking me for the automatic renewal???. I would never had agreed to pay automatic renewal. I am more than capable of deciding whether to accept a quote or not. At the bottom of the thank you note it states that they only do that if I ask for them to do it or I applied for the insurance online. Well I did not do either of those things. Clearly Sheila's wheels are deciding what is best for me nothing to do with the fact they are hoping I will just accept this method of payment. Well I don't have any interest in this automatic renewal also I rang back to speak to the customer service surprise surprise Indian call centre who couldn't understand me and I certainly couldn't understand her I asked her to put me through to someone else that hopefully I could understand. Surprisingly no one is available so I said I want someone to call me ...., STILL WAITING. Be warned you will find that if you have any issues you will get the same treatment. Don't bother

AVOID CAR INSURANCE

I chose to insure myself with Sheilas Wheels because of the reviews I read, however after having to make a claim through them I honestly can’t understand how on earth they have received such good reviews. My claim was made on the 25th of October and my car was sat on the side of the road for another week before I had to call and chase recovery. (I called on the day I claimed to arrange recovery) For 2 months now, I have been chasing for an update weekly and have had the absolute bare minimum contact in return. As a matter of fact, the last four emails I have sent have been ignored. I submitted a formal complaint and it was handed back to the manager of the total loss team, nearly two weeks later- still no contact. I will be staying far far away from insuring my car with Sheilas wheels and I recommend everyone else does too! Reviewed on: 9th December 2022

Terrible customer service and claims handing.

Took 2 months to resolve a claim and over 15 hours on hold in total over 10-15 phone calls. When you do get through the staff are curt and rude at best. Lodged a complaint 11th October, despite numerous phone calls since, have still not heard anything, 6 weeks later. Would rather have paid double the price and saved my self this hassle. Total Scammers !!!

I wanted to cancel my insurance (4 mths left ) as I have stopped driving . After 2hrs waiting on the phone I finally got through and was told that the cancellation was , suprise , suprise equal to the price of insurance left on my policy !!! I neednt have bothered !!! Had a no fault accident. This company recommended going with their Mister Law to claim for injuries received

After 5 months from Mister Law taking on my case I am still waiting for an outcome. The doctor they sent me to had a lack of understanding of English and repeated back to me a totally different account of the incident and how I received my injuries! I contacted Mister Law on 10th October was informed "oh it has been a long while" and they would pass on my details so it could be chased up. I requested a complaints form as I was unhappy with the delay. Never had any form or update. 8 days later still heard nothing so contacted Shelia's Wheels, who recommended Mister Law on their site and again to me when the accident occurred. Their response "we can't do anything", though they have received back their expenses back and the case is closed from their side! They did contact Mister Law when I pushed that I had taken the company they had recommended. Mister Law responded that I can email my complaint to them and they should hopefully get back to me within a week! I would not recommend either of these companies and disappointed that as a customer of Shelia's Wheels they have left me to sort this out myself.
