I had a twelve month fixed rate bond that matured while I was hospitalised I was unable to get in touch with the skipton, when I was eventually discharged from hospital I went to my local branch to give instructions only to find out that the skipton had second guessed my intentions and reinvested my money into another twelve months bond which is exactly what I wanted .I know that other banks deposit your money into a measly account paying a very low rate of interest but not the skipton ,they did what was best for the customer Reviewed on: 21st March 2025

Simple and efficient

Opening a savings account online was very simple and efficient. Initial rates are good compared to market and they offer better rates once established as a member. There are also still branches! Reviewed on: 15th March 2025
