Free, Simple and Great service

I've been with other banks for business banking but Starling Bank takes it to the next level. Push notifications, 24/7 support, fast card delivery and best of all its free. I'm so thrilled I'm moving my Personal Account over. Reviewed on: 4th November 2019

Just what I was looking for

Since getting a Starling Business account my banking has gone from Stephenson’s Rocket to a Japanese Bullet train. Excellent throughout. I’ve also opened a number of personal accounts too. Reviewed on: 4th November 2019

Poor Business Banking

Starling Business Current account is free, and quick to set up. There is no doubt Starling Bank does banking, but its Business Current Account does not offer real Business banking. The weakest link of Starling Business Account is the lack to dedicated business customer support. I could not speak to a business team member to deal with the matter directly, and it has taken too much time without resolving the actual issue. Until Starling Bank improves customer support for business account, it is better off to look for a real Business Bank Account elsewhere for primary business banking. Reviewed on: 17th June 2019

Not Strong Enough All Round

The mobile phone app is very simple to use and slick. But.. I hadn't checked closely enough, I thought it was mobile phone and phone banking. The fact that I can't use it on any other portal feels a bit 'eggs in one basket' - mobile phones are often lost or stolen but there is no other way to access your account in this event. Customer service is a chatbot, which has been quite slow, email responses are even slower. Overall it isn't strong enough for my business needs as I couldn't even get it to integrate with Xero, despite following numerous sets of instructions. Plus, trying to switch away from them is proving to be a nightmare which is odd given how quick they were to get my business. It feels like the emperor's new clothes - some nice touches but there isn't that much substance behind the stuff. If you live and die for your mobile phone, this account will be heaven for you. Hassle-free and fee-free

As far as I know, Starling Bank is the only bank who truly offer hassle-free and fee-free banking experience for both personal and business. Plus it is the only bank who operate with a real banking license among other alternatives. Reviewed on: 11th February 2019
