Great that they get their own space, with a debit ca...

Great that they get their own space, with a debit card for withdrawing cash and making payments online, but all visible by me, and with good controls. They get their own app, so they can check the balance at any time. The only real drawback is the lack of functionally like direct debits, for example for paying a mobile phone bill. Also I have to manually pro-rate interest payments. Reviewed on: 13th March 2024

Easy transparent banking for children

I love my starling account and have both my children set up with kite debit card accounts. They have the freedom to spend when they want but I have the control, daily limits, maximum spends and they get to see the transactions in a clear informative way when looking at their spaces on the app. Reviewed on: 17th March 2023

Best account for kids

I absolutely love the Kite children's account. My son adores his card and the freedom it allows. So much safer than cash. Having his account as a space without my own account is brilliant and makes managing his funds super easy. Reviewed on: 17th March 2023
