Kite money card and app

The fact that I can set up two separate accounts with debit cards for my children is amazing. I have control on spending controls and it informs me when they use their cards. Much better value too than other debit card teaching apps for children , especially after the introduction of the child friendly app so they too can see their balance. Reviewed on: 5th February 2022

Change for better and greener

I recently closed my account with one of the biggest banks and moved to Starling. It was a very conscious decision: for a better future. It bothered me that I kept my funds at one of the banks investing in fossil fuels. Since moving to Starling, thanks to the bank’s app, I have a better outlook at my daily finances, I could provide my children with their own Kite cards and I’m not inundated by countless offers to get more credit or spend more. The Kite card is brilliant, as the account holder I’m not charged for every transfer to the card and still have control over my children’s spending. The only downside is that the Kite card can’t be connected to the Apple Pay. Reviewed on: 5th February 2022

So bloody handy

Customer centric products

I have found my switch to Starling to be a breath of fresh air in an industry full of stuffy old world banks where the bank expects the customer to bend to their will. Easy to use!

I have moved 2 business accounts and a personal account to Starling. Easy to use , I have approached Customer service a couple of times and they solved my queries there and then. My eldest child has an account and not only does it make him feel responsible he has also started budgeting rather than just asking for more from Dad ! Reviewed on: 5th February 2022

Excellent Kids App

I’m delighted with the kite app and account for my 12 year old. She’s very excited about having her own card and being able to shop online and I’m pleased I can monitor and track her spending as well as automatically add her pocket money each week.
