Great that they get their own space, with a debit card for withdrawing cash and making payments online, but all visible by me, and with good controls. They get their own app, so they can check the balance at any time. The only real drawback is the lack of functionally like direct debits, for example for paying a mobile phone bill. Fantastic children’s account

I use Starling for my two children, it’s been fantastic to teach them about banking - they love the app and seeing their pocket money grow. It’s also great as a parent as well, super easy to manage the account and transfer money, set limits, block cards when they inevitably lose them etc. best of all it’s now free!
