Great that they get their own space, with a debit card for withdrawing cash and making payments online, but all visible by me, and with good controls. They get their own app, so they can check the balance at any time. The only real drawback is the lack of functionally like direct debits, for example for paying a mobile phone bill. World class customer service

When I set up the Kite accounts, I needed to link my children's Kite apps to my Starling Bank app on my phone. It worked perfectly and instantly on two of my three children's accounts. Starling technical support were brilliant. They were professional, patient and thorough talking me through everything. When it still didn't work, they informed me they were working on a new method using QR codes and kept me informed at all stages until it was released and it worked straight away.
