The bank of the times

I have had an account for a couple years and I have watched other banks fade away. When I joined Starling, I signed up through the application on my phone. It was very easy. I confirmed my identity online, with somethey help me via live chat. I can upload cheques to my account. When I am a little out of pocket, I find a few spare pennies that have been automatically saved for me with each purchase. Starling is progressive and targets the current age and that is wonderful. Older people seem to get left behind in the times. This encourages them to adapt and embrace them. It welcomes them into the new age. Reviewed on: 5th March 2021

Fantastic bank, made me think differently

At first I started the account to start separating finances for a divorce, but since opening I’ve realised the old ways of banking are just that, old..... this new account helps me take charge of my money and allows me to save without an additional account, by segregating my available funds into spaces, which literally blew my mind when I first got the account. Now it’s the norm. All are update-able in an instant which means flexibility at the extreme. I also use the round up function to keep my savings goals on track Reviewed on: 16th April 2021

The best bloody change I made

Totally 100% happy with my move to starling bank. It’s so modern , up to date, easy to use. Looks appealing. Have recommended to friends and family. I also have x2 business accounts and a joint account , so easy to move money, save money, budget money and anything else you can think of. Effortless banking

This is how banking should be - from a 5-minute verified application and a card ready to use in my phone to just being able to manage my account without the convoluted approach of most high streets. It’s clear Starling employs talent that designs its products from the customer’s view, not the policy director’s view that the big boys take. Applying for a business bank took minutes, a similar venture with another bank took nearly 3 weeks and nearly pulling my hair out as well as running out of expletives. Banking isn’t difficult but Starling stands out because others make such a meal of it. At least, if it is complicated then Starling have done a brilliant job of keeping it simple. Superb Bank Service so far

I am a newcomer to Starling, but so far so good. The App is simple, uncomplicated and efficient to use. I also use a Starling business account and that too is excellent to use. I have recommended Starling to a few people, but they usually say 'I've never heard of them.....'. There is a resistance to leave the 'big, high street banks' even though they are leaving the High Streets. Reviewed on: 16th April 2021
