The bank of the times

I have had an account for a couple years and I have watched other banks fade away. When I joined Starling, I signed up through the application on my phone. It was very easy. I confirmed my identity online, with somethey help me via live chat. I can upload cheques to my account. When I am a little out of pocket, I find a few spare pennies that have been automatically saved for me with each purchase. Starling is progressive and targets the current age and that is wonderful. Older people seem to get left behind in the times. This encourages them to adapt and embrace them. It welcomes them into the new age. Reviewed on: 5th March 2021

An outstanding modern banking experience

I moved to Starling from HSBC after 24 years with them. I had found HSBCs online offering clunky, outdated and over complicated for everything from online money transfers and borrowing services, to simple tasks such as statement reviews. Starling is a breath of fresh air, it was simple to set up, the app is easy to use and the ability to see live real time balances and or apply for services if required is second to none. I have found there customer service team friendly and attentive on the very few occasions i have needed to speak with them as well. I could honestly write a great deal here about the variety of pros but will sum it up with a simple statement.
