Review of the Starling Bank, Current Account:

A really good bank

I don't like going into bank branches, I find the environment too formal so setting up a starling account was perfect for me, I just installed the app, took a few photos and it was pretty much done, it was really easy. I'm enjoying using the debit card to buy things online without extra foreign currency fees and find the tap to pay feature very useful in shops. Overall I like the general ethos of Starling bank, they have new progressive ideas and they just feel different to other banks. Reviewed on: 22nd January 2021

Good Bank, I would recommend

My overall experience has been good especially the overdraft charges. Other banks I find charges has been crippling! Reviewed on: 29th April 2024

Excellent App - Easy to use..

I find the app very easy to use and as I only carry my phone most of the time having the Starling app means I always have access to funds without having to worry about carrying money. Reviewed on: 28th April 2024

Step up in service from the old big banks

Starling are great at helping me to budget and save...

Starling are great at helping me to budget and save using the "Spaces" feature and they have been amazing at helping me open my account without the traditional photo ID. As an autistic person, I have found their app so user-friendly and I have recommended Starling to several people and I know at least two have since opened accounts with them. I used to think banks were all pretty much the same until I started using Starling. The instant notifications at transaction were an immediate change from the outdated banks I had been with before but it's all their own unique features that really makes them stand out! The app is the best there is...

Layout and functionality of the app is the best there is in banking apps; practical, user friendly and aesthetic. I would like a search feature where it can tell me how much I've spent / income in from specific vendors however this doesn't impact my day to day use of the app, a little add luxury.
