The bank of the times

I have had an account for a couple years and I have watched other banks fade away. When I joined Starling, I signed up through the application on my phone. It was very easy. I confirmed my identity online, with somethey help me via live chat. I can upload cheques to my account. When I am a little out of pocket, I find a few spare pennies that have been automatically saved for me with each purchase. Starling is progressive and targets the current age and that is wonderful. Older people seem to get left behind in the times. This encourages them to adapt and embrace them. It welcomes them into the new age. Reviewed on: 5th March 2021

Ease of use

Friendly, helpful and so easy to use. Tells you what’s coming out of your account and when. Highly recommended. The only way to improve would be to up the cash withdrawal daily limit. Reviewed on: 29th March 2021

Effortless banking!

I joined Starling around a year ago and have been really impressed by their service. I am immediately notified of credits / debits to my account and also notified of pending direct debits that are due and whether they will take me into my overdraft. Easy to use app which allows you to control your money and their overdraft charges are reasonable, unlike most other rip-off banks who are charging c40%, which is a disgrace given the current interest rate. An easy switch

Best bank

I used to have Natwest, Barclays & HSBC branches within a mile of my home. All gone. With Starling I have found a bank which gives me everything and more. Cheques can be scanned into my account. I sat on a joint account cheque for six months until forced to travel 30 miles to my nearest Natwest to pay in, so my next move is to open a Starling joint account to avoid this. Great.

Great bank. Easy to set up both my business and personal accounts. Only slight downside is they no longer allow transfers to crypto-based companies such as Coinbase. Hence the 9 stars in stead of 10. Reviewed on: 29th March 2021
