The bank of the times

I have had an account for a couple years and I have watched other banks fade away. When I joined Starling, I signed up through the application on my phone. It was very easy. I confirmed my identity online, with somethey help me via live chat. I can upload cheques to my account. When I am a little out of pocket, I find a few spare pennies that have been automatically saved for me with each purchase. Starling is progressive and targets the current age and that is wonderful. Older people seem to get left behind in the times. This encourages them to adapt and embrace them. It welcomes them into the new age. Reviewed on: 5th March 2021

Zero innovation after 4 years

App is so complicated, their services are basic and zero innovation. But apparently for them charging 2£ for kids account is something amazing. Reviewed on: 2nd February 2021

Great customer service

This is the best company I have blanked with. Both itscurrenr and Euro accounts are excellent. Money transfers abroad are quick and easy to use plus using the debit card abroad is great with real time exchange rates which are not over inflated unlike other banks. Reviewed on: 2nd February 2021

Really easy to manage

The easiest bank account to manage I have ever had. The app is very easy to use. They are really transparent about any issues they are facing (see their Twitter feeds, etc). So you know exactly where you are with them. I get notifications on my phone so fast it often beats the equipment in the shop, so the opportunity for fraudsters is really low. Any help from the company if there is a (rare) issue is really fast. Truly transformed banking. (And I'm an old man (ish) so am not easily impressed.). Reviewed on: 2nd February 2021

Slick, simple, reliable and intuitive

Customer since 2018, can't fault the service i've received. App is quick and kept well updated. Services provided are simple and easy to use. Spaces are a big plus. Using the joint account with my partner allow for easy tracking of joint spending and saving. Reviewed on: 2nd February 2021

Simple perfection

The best bank I have been with, simple and easy to use app. Instant notifications so I always know when anything has been spent and when payments are due. Great customer service. Lots of benefits from being able to pay in cash at post office. Reviewed on: 2nd February 2021

Changed the way I think about money

Starling makes money clear. If I buy something on my card - it comes off my balance. There’s only one balance shown , even though some payments might technically be pending. I love the spaces. I title them so I know what to save and how often. Every bit of my money is accounted for and whatever is left is my balance. If I’m saving for an occasion and need to spend I just remove it from the saving space and spend. It’s an absolutely amazing bank. Thanks! Reviewed on: 1st February 2021
